Chuuzr 1.01 Release Notes
Chuuzr is an INIT/cdev that allows you to quickly mount server volumes from
a hierarchical menu from the Chooser menu item and through standard file dialogs.
Installation:
Copy Chuuzr into your System folder (or Control Panels folder if you are running
System 7) and reboot.
The Chooser menu item should now have a hierarchical menu that says “Configure…”.
This item allows you to add servers volumes to the hierarchical menu for quickaccess.
Standard file dialogs also will have a popup for mounting these volumes.
Chuuzr creates a file called “Chuuzr Preferences” that contains information for
each volume that it can mount.
Y ou may use the control panel to tell Chuuzr not to install at startup time.
Known problems:
If a server shuts down that has been mounted via Chuuzr, the shutdown message
will display gibberish for the server name.
Orphaned server volumes cannot be easily removed from the hierarchical menu.
If a server volume is renamed or disconnected from the server, there isn’t a
way through Chuuzr of removing the volume item from the menu. You may use a
resource editting program to remove the volume’s resource from “Chuuzr Preferences”.
If a program uses nested standard file dialogs, Chuuzr will get confused and
neither the dialog nor Chuuzr will function properly.
